Privacy policy
This policy explains what information is collected when you use telegrove, what it is used for and what choices you have. In short: we keep only what is needed to run the service, and we never sell your data.
Information we collect
- Account details. When you sign in with Telegram, the ID, name, username and profile photo that Telegram shares. If email sign-up is available, your email address and an encrypted form of your password.
- Content you add. The link, name, description, photo, category and public member count of the channel, group or bot you submit.
- Your activity. Reviews and ratings you write, listings you save, reports you send, your tree in the Channel Forest and your watering or invitation history.
- Newsletter. The email address you leave for the newsletter.
- Payment details. If you pay for a Promote campaign in crypto, the order, amount, transaction ID and invoice details. We do not ask for or keep bank or card information.
- Technical data. IP address, browser and device type, language preference and pages visited. This is used for security, preventing abuse and finding bugs. For Forest interactions, a digest of the IP address may be stored instead of the address itself to prevent cheating.
- Counters. View and click counts for listings are kept as daily totals and are not linked to a person.
How we use it
- To create your account, keep you signed in and provide the service.
- To list and rank content and show reviews and ratings.
- To verify payments and start campaigns.
- To prevent spam, fraud and abuse, and to enforce our rules.
- To improve the site and fix problems.
- To send you the newsletter if you subscribed. Every email lets you unsubscribe.
Cookies
We use cookies that are necessary for the site to work: they keep you signed in, protect forms and remember your language. When an analytics service is used to measure visits, it may set its own cookies. You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings, though some features such as signing in may stop working.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data or hand it to third parties for advertising. To provide the service, limited sharing may happen with:
- Telegram. Sign-in, the bot and the Mini App run through Telegram.
- Infrastructure providers. Hosting, content delivery and security services (for example Cloudflare).
- Payments. Public transaction data on the blockchain, used to verify crypto payments.
- Analytics. If enabled, for visit statistics.
- Legal requirements. When a lawful request comes from a competent authority, to the extent necessary.
Information shown on listing pages (name, description, member count and so on) and your username on reviews are public.
Retention and security
Your data is kept while your account is open or as long as needed to provide the service. Payment and invoice records may be kept as long as needed for accounting and dispute handling. Access to data is limited and connections are encrypted (HTTPS). No system is completely risk-free, so we cannot promise absolute security, but we take reasonable precautions.
Your choices
- You can ask to see, correct or delete the information in your account.
- When you delete your account, your personal information is deleted or anonymized so it no longer relates to you. For accounts with payments, invoice records may be kept in anonymized form.
- You can unsubscribe from the newsletter with the link in any email or by writing to us.
- You can ask for a listing you added to be removed.
For these requests, use the route on the contact page.
Children
The site is not aimed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you notice that a young child has shared information with us, tell us and we will delete it right away.
External links
Listed channels, groups and bots, and other sites we link to, are outside our control. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, so please review their own terms before joining.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is published on this page and the date at the bottom shows the last update. We will announce significant changes on the site. See also the terms of use.
